mostimportantly is the offset. The wheels in my sig are B6/B7 18" A4 wheels with 235/40 tires on an s line A3 2.0T. They came from an A4 which uses the same wheel as the A6 and are ET 43. Stock A3 offset is ET 56 if I remember correctly, and most likely will need at least an ET 50 in order for it not to rub.

Theeasiest way to do this is a jack under the front balljoint. Deagrease the brakes, and that's the front done! Both sides took a lesiurely day to do. For the rear, first slacken the driveshaft bolts, jack the back and remove the wheels and brake discs and calipers. Remove the hub by unbolting the top arm.
