Now I leveled a new Mesmer from 50 to 80 (got a scroll from birthday). And I fell in love with it :->>Leveling was quite fun. Sometimes a bit complicated, but all round I felt pretty capable in OW and story content. I had used the OW-build from metabattle(GS, Sw/Sw with some variations). Gearwise I used what I got from quests (some TP).
Elonian GW2 Names. Elona was once a mighty human kingdom that got divided into three factions, after years of bloody civil war, only to get united again by a lich, turning into a land for the both living and the dead and making it all but inaccessible to the outsiders. Dahni. Mehinu. Kanyama.
For Guild Wars 2 on the PC, a GameFAQs message board topic titled "Good prefixes for names since all the good names are taken?" - Page 2.
Players are automatically given a name reservation lasting 24 hours after the character's deletion. This allows players to create a new character with the same name without someone else taking it in the process. Oh, must have missed that one >.> That's great to read and a much better solution than in most MMOs (imho).
I was surprised that Peirene - a name I had in mind for a female sylvari - was already in use, since I came up with it "by myself" (inspired by the name Irene). But apparently someone else had the same idea before me :P. For male norn I really like Brodach, a version I made of Brádach (that means "large-chested").

There are a few really famous players in GW1 because of their names. There was the Mesmers (all one account) named Hex Appeal, Hexual Frustration etc. and the Mesmer named Ellen Degenyourass. I have some I'm proud of named Arise Minions and Axe of Abaddon. Saw an Assassin the other day named Sum Ting Wong. I lol'd.
IMO Engineer is a pretty great class, it's got insane tools for every situation, can achieve monster dps in raids, and is somehow considered to be an off-meta pick. eaglebach. • 2 yr. ago. As long as you don’t play trash elementalists, then everything is good.
405 Days, 200 Legendary Armors from no-requirement training raids :) With the new Fractal coming up, Mistlock Instabilities deserve a few bugfixes. Here's a comprehensive list of bugged & unpopular ones, and suggestions to improve them.
Posted September 14, 2017. The guild leader has to submit a ticket via support in order to change the guild name and tag. I'm not sure how likely it is they will help, whether it can only be because of a security breach or mis-spelling, as I've never tried it. But the ticket is the only way. I'm not sure something in the Gem Store would be a
It's still not hard to get a "propper" name with some lastnames, middle names or accents. 1. Friedhatter. • 6 min. ago. Or you could just use a little imagination and come up with a new name. I see folks all the time posting about returning to game after x number of years. 1. r/Guildwars2.
I used to be a huge Adventure Time fan back before the Guild Wars 2 launched. A bit after the time the gender-bent episodes aired I decided to name a female warrior Fionna The Human in Guild Wars so as to transfer it over into Guild Wars 2, as at the time they were allowing player to reserve their characters' names by making them in Guild Wars.
As one of the devs mentioned during the stress testing thread, your system clock is used to determine whether the buttons are visible or not. Of course, the servers won't be live, so the 'Play' button won't do anything, but all the client-side stuff is revealed and hidden based on system clock.
By buying a name change contract in the Gem Store. Other way is to recreate your character. Make a new character. There's a name change contract in the gem store. Or you can decide if it's cheaper to remake the character for you. Only remake if character is new. I resisted deleting old characters and I'll be getting lots of bday gifts =) 354K

After all, ArenaNet's Mike O'Brien said of the game: "If you love MMOs, you'll want to check out Guild Wars 2, and if you hate MMOs, you'll really want to check out Guild Wars 2." Don't knock it
My Ranger's pets has similar names, such as Elenyar, Eleniti, Elengon, Elenwen, Elenaha All of these coming from Elfdict, most of them are probably inaccurate in terms of Grammar and meaning but it's not that important. 3. Obabas_Hut. OP • 6 yr. ago.

For Guild Wars 2 on the PC, a GameFAQs message board topic titled "So has it been confirmed to be true about the names?" - Page 3.
Don’t lose Hope! Names are only reserved for a short time after release of GW2 and not all name that are reserved will be used, so a name you might want might open up after release. When the reserve list was made for GW2 it took all names from accounts that were used in the last year form GW1.
Posted December 25, 2020. @Schimmi.6872 said:As far as I can remember a dev once said, that they also check pet- and guild-names, if a player is reported for an inappropriate name.Don't know, if that's still true. You can also try to report it via a support-ticket, maybe they can tell you the right way to handle it. Here's some other options for changing the name to find something which is available. They won't all work for all names of course, but you probably only need 1 change to get an available name: Change the spelling - e.g. Katie to Katy; Add/remove spaces - e.g. Firewind to Fire Wind; Use a synonym - e.g. Firewind to Blazewind
